Mankind seems to be at a historic crossroads, facing for the first time an existential choice between self-preservation and self-destruction. Man's inquisitive nature has led him to constantly meddle in nature's scheme of things, resulting in the latter's revenges and blights, terrible in origin and gruesome in execution. Advancement in science and technology has been reciprocated with ills and ailments, woes and worries, extreme to say the least. For his own comfort man has continuously been ravaging the ecosystem he needs so badly for his own survival as a species. The gigantic proportions to which environmental pollution has reached, threatens its originator _ Man _ the most. As such, there is a perilous precipice bordering on survival and annihilation, existence and extinction. There is a tide in the affairs of men which has to be dealt with very diligently, efficiently and vigilantly; otherwise, man's future seems doomed. We'll have to take the bull by its horn...
